Overview

Cosmobit ("the app") is a retro arcade game designed for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how the app handles information on your device.

We built Cosmobit as an offline-first experience. Your game progress, preferences, and achievements are stored locally on your device.

Information Stored On Your Device

Cosmobit stores the following information locally on your device to provide core app functionality:

• Game progress: sector completion, star ratings, and high scores.
• Pilot profile: your chosen pilot name and avatar selection.
• Settings: colorblind mode preference and reduced-flash setting.
• Upgrade inventory: ship upgrade tiers you have unlocked.
• Daily reward state: whether today's daily bonus has been claimed.

The app may use a device identifier locally to maintain your session and provide basic app functionality on your device. This identifier is used on your device only.

How We Use It

All stored information is used exclusively to deliver the game experience on your device. Your pilot stats power the profile screen. Your settings preferences persist across launches. Your upgrade inventory reflects purchases made with in-game bits. None of this information is used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

Information We Do Not Collect

Cosmobit does not collect or share:

• Personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• Location data of any kind.
• Browsing history or activity outside the app.
• Payment information.
• Contacts or photos.

We do not share any data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

Push Notifications

Cosmobit may request permission to send push notifications to remind you of daily rewards and new content. Notifications are managed entirely on your device through the iOS notification system. You can disable notifications at any time via iOS Settings. Granting or revoking notification permission does not affect your game progress or stored preferences.

Data Retention

All data stored by Cosmobit resides in your device's local storage. It is retained until you delete the app or use the in-app "Reset Profile" function. Resetting your profile permanently removes all stored game progress from your device. Deleting the app removes all associated local data.

Your Rights

Because Cosmobit stores all data locally on your device, you have complete control:

• You can reset your pilot profile at any time via Settings within the app.
• You can delete the app to remove all associated data.
• You can revoke notification permissions via iOS Settings at any time.

Children's Privacy

Cosmobit is suitable for all ages. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, no special handling is required. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review this policy and discuss app usage with their children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Cosmobit after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
