Vavada
Vavada is an offline rotation puzzle in which you turn interlocking cogs to carry current through a machine. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Vavada does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no network code and no accounts; everything it records stays in its own storage on your device.
Information we collect
None. Vavada does not ask for a name, an email address, a phone number, or any other identifier. There is no sign-in, no profile, and no way to create an account. The app never asks you to type anything about yourself.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, Vavada stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Level progress — for each hall you have played: the level number, the stars awarded, your best move count, and the time it was cleared.
- Medal progress — the identifier of each in-game medal, how far along it is, and when it was unlocked.
- Game state and settings — a small key/value table holding your workshop upgrades, medal balance, daily-winding streak, an unfinished hall you walked away from, and your preferences such as reduced motion and shape markers.
- One onboarding flag — a single true/false value recording that you have already seen the intro, so it is not shown twice.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Vavada or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
None. The Android manifest declares no runtime permissions and the iOS build requests none, so Vavada never asks for access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files. The only outward-facing feature is the share button, which hands a short line of text you chose to share to the system share sheet; the app does not read anything back from it.
Network use
Vavada makes no network requests of any kind. The app bundles no HTTP client, no socket code, and no web view, and its level data ships inside the app package. It runs identically in airplane mode. Because nothing leaves your device, there are no servers, logs, or endpoints associated with your use of the app.
Third-party services
None. Vavada integrates no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs. There is no Firebase, no Google Mobile Ads, no Crashlytics, and no comparable service. Its dependencies are limited to the Flutter framework and to local-only packages for storage, state management, on-screen animation, date formatting, and the system share sheet.
Children's privacy
Vavada is suitable for all ages and is safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K). There is no advertising, no in-app purchasing, no chat, and no user-generated content that could be shared with anyone else.
Your rights
Because Vavada stores everything locally and sends nothing anywhere, you already hold the only copy of your data and you control it directly. Clearing the app’s storage from your device settings erases all progress immediately, and uninstalling Vavada removes its database and preferences completely. There is nothing held on our side to request, export, correct, or delete, so no request to us is necessary — but you are welcome to write with any question at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
